Raymond Terrace Place Plan

What is the Raymond Terrace Place Plan: Raymond Terrace is evolving - and we have an opportunity to shape its future with confidence. The Raymond Terrace Place Plan will set a clear, community-led road map to guide how the town grows and improves over the next 15–20 years. It will focus on creating a safe, vibrant and connected riverside centre that celebrates local character, supports new housing and investment, and delivers better public spaces for everyone.

Background: Since the adoption of the Raymond Terrace and Heatherbrae Strategy in 2015, significant changes have occurred - including major infrastructure investment, housing reforms and shifting community priorities. The new Place Plan will respond to these changes and replace the previous strategy with a practical roadmap for action. It will facilitate where new housing should go, how the town centre can be revitalised and how public spaces, safety and connectivity can be improved.
