Project overview

Roads works are now complete on Trevally Street between Austral and Swordfish Streets, Nelson Bay. The upgrade is funded by the $10M NSW state election commitment to improve roads around Port Stephens.

The project has Improved the condition of the existing road infrastructure and improved safety.

Works have been completed on the final trim this week. Primer seal is scheduled for today, Friday 30 August. Asphalt is scheduled for two weeks’ time which will complete the project.

Trevally St, Nelson Bay – Seg 10: Excavation of existing pavement is now completed, subbase pavement is now imported, placed and compacted. Will now complete importing of base pavement material, placement, compaction and final trim. Primer seal is scheduled for later next week.

Trevally Street, Nelson Bay – Seg 10: Drainage replacement and kerb replacement has been completed and the team have commenced pavement excavation and importing of new pavement layers.
