Project overview

Tomaree Sports Complex is a vital asset to our community. We're committed to ensuring it remains accessible and usable for all, even in the face of extreme weather.

Extreme weather events have caused significant disruptions to our sports complex, leading to field closures and cancellations of important sporting events.

We're implementing a new drainage system to address the ongoing flooding issues and protect the facility for years to come. This is an action outlined in the Tomaree Sports Complex Masterplan.

The project will:

  • Reduce the frequency and duration of flooding.
  • Keep key areas dry, allowing sporting fixtures to continue uninterrupted.
  • Future-proof the complex against future extreme weather events.
This project is made possible thanks to funding from the NSW Government's Sport Infrastructure Recovery Fund.
