The aim of this project is to enhance the liveability and wellbeing of the local and visiting community of Taylors Beach through the provision of high quality, inclusive playground facilities.

Objectives:

• Remove existing playground
• Construct a new inclusive Tier 3 Local Playground that complies with Everyone Can Play Guidelines to service local residents and visitors.
• Playground designs to support community engagement.
• Install inclusive supporting infrastructure

We've secured funding for playspace upgrades at Taylors Beach, Korora Oval at Salamander Bay and Elkin Avenue at Raymond Terrace via the NSW Government Stronger Country Communities Fund. Centennial Park at Tanilba Bay and Tomaree Sports Complex at Nelson Bay will be funded via Council’s Asset Rehabilitation and Developer Contributions funds.
