The aim of the project is to provide a raised pedestrian crossing in the middle of a key walking route that connects town centre businesses and the majority of the residential area of Karuah to Karuah Public School.

The project includes:

• Construction of a raised pedestrian crossing on Tarean Road and removal of existing crossing
• Connection from existing paths to new pedestrian crossing
