Project overview

The Tanilba Bay Boardwalk is a popular walkway that spans over the wetlands running parallel to the beach. The boardwalk links Caswell Reserve to Peace Park. Existing beach access from the boardwalk to the beach is provided through a flight of recycled plastic stairs. These stairs are now closed off from the public due to their dangerous condition and large drop off at the last tread caused by erosion. These new works will provide 2 formal beach access points from the boardwalk, in an area less conducive to coastal erosion
