As part of our Roads Acceleration Program (RAP), works are scheduled to commence this month for Sandy Point Road, Corlette. This project is aimed at improving the existing road infrastructure, drainage and safety for all road users.

Initial pre-works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday 19 May 2026. These works are scheduled to take 2 weeks and include:

• Minor kerb and gutter work
• Kerb inlet pit works

The pavement works are scheduled to commence in early June. These works include:

• Road reconstruction including asphaltic concrete wearing course
• Reinstate linemarking as per existing

Traffic impacts include a one lane closure during construction hours, with traffic lights at either end, allowing traffic to pass through however there are short delays expected.

The pavement works are scheduled to take approximately three (3) weeks, weather permitting.
