We've been undertaking planning for upgrade works along Mustons Road Karuah for a number of years. The objective of the works is to provide an off-road shared path from Tarean Road through to Boronia Road, as well as widening and returning the road across Mustons Gully to two lanes.

The elected Council has recently granted approval of the Development Application. A tender process to engage a construction contractor will be underway in early-2026. Construction works are planned to commence in mid-2026 to align with favourable tide levels to conduct works in the Mustons Gully.

During construction, Mustons Road will be required to remain operational, however there will be temporary periods of disruption and delay. Further information will be provided once the construction works are awarded and the traffic impacts and construction schedule are finalised.
