Project overview

As part of the Roads Acceleration Program, Council is undertaking road rehabilitation works at Corrie Parade from Drungall Avenue to Corrie Lane. This project is being funded by Council’s Roads Acceleration Program with the aim of improving the existing road infrastructure and the safety for all road users.

The works include:

  • Road rehabilitation
  • Asphalt wearing course

To enable road rehabilitation works, we’ll be installing drainage lines under the road. These works will commence on Wednesday 3 June 2026, weather permitting. The road will remain open with some parking spaces affected during the works.

Following the completion of the drainage works, the road rehabilitation works are scheduled to commence from Monday 22 June 2026, weather permitting.

During construction hours, the roads will be under traffic control with short delays expected for motorists. Access will be maintained for residents within the works area, as well as for essential services (e.g. emergency services, bus services, mail and parcel delivery, and waste collection).

Works are expected to take 4 weeks (weather permitting), followed by a two-week gap before the asphalt wearing course can be completed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during these works.
