Roadworks are scheduled to commence on Clarence Town Road in Seaham, north of Dixon Street on Monday 13 October 2025 and to be completed in late-2025.

As part of the works, Council will be;

• Improving the deteriorated road pavement
• Improving condition of under road culverts and roadside drainage

During construction, the work zone will be under traffic control conditions with short delays expected for motorists. Access will be maintained for residents within the work zone and essential services such as emergency services, mail and parcel delivery and waste collection. During construction, vehicular access to properties in the work zone may be restricted for a period of time while excavation works occur. Our construction team will notify affected residents when access will be restricted.
