Project overview
We are committed to the ongoing maintenance of Birubi Point and are proceeding with Birubi Point Landscaping Works - Stage 2, which will have minor access impacts to visitors and users of the area.
The stage 2 works include:
- Installation of boundary defining sandstone blocks along the edge of the grassed area in front of the Surf Club
- Maintenance of the sloping rock wall, including removal of Bitou Bush,
- Removal and relocation of sand build-up,
- Installation of a concrete slab for future installs of temporary structures such as port a loos
Stage 2 Landscaping Works for Birubi Point are proudly funded by the NSW Government in partnership with Port Stephens Council.
