The Safe Places Emergency Accommodation Program supports women and children experiencing violence by providing grants to fund the building, renovation, or purchases of new emergency accommodation. The Safe Places Inclusion Round is a continuation of the Safe Places program, with up $90.9 million available for grants over 4 years.

This round of the Safe Places Program aims to improve access to appropriate emergency accommodation to First Nations women and children, women and children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and women and children with disability. In particular, this includes individuals who experience racism, ableism and sexism.
