Men as Role Models for Preventing Violence against Women and their Children

The Australian Government has committed $2.472 million GST exclusive (across FY2019–20 to FY2021–22) to develop and deliver primary prevention activities that encourage men to be positive role models. This grant is funded under the Fourth Action Plan of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022 (National Plan).

The Department of Social Services is seeking applications from specialist organisations, or consortium partnerships led by specialist organisations, with other relevant organisations.

Applications close at 11:00 pm AEST on 24 September 2019.

Community-led Projects to Prevent Violence against Women and their Children

The Australian Government has committed $6.139 million GST exclusive (across FY2019–20 to FY2021–22) to support primary prevention activities. This is funded under the Fourth Action Plan of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022.

The Department of Social Services is seeking applications from specialist organisations, or consortium partnerships, to develop and deliver primary prevention projects across Australia. The lead applicant must be a specialist organisation with expertise in family, domestic or sexual violence, primary prevention or gender equality.

Applications close at 11:00 pm AEDT on 9 October 2019.

ILC Individual Capacity Building (ICB) Program Grant Opportunity 2019-2020

The grant opportunity will fund activities that align with the following two activity types:

Activity type 1: Individual Capacity Building, which are activities that build the capacity of people with disability by ensuring that they have the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to set and achieve their goals.

Activity type 2: Organisational Capacity Building, which are activities that improve the ability of Disabled Peoples Organisations and Families Organisations (DPO/FOs) to deliver their organisational purpose and to deliver ILC in the community.
