Introducing the FREE DRC Counselling Support Service at Interrelate
DISABILITY ROYAL COMMISSION – Interrelate Counselling Support is now available
for people with disability who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation; their parents, guardians, carers and family members; and anyone else affected by the DRC who feels that they require counselling support.
Interrelate’s counselling service provides confidential, professional trauma-informed counselling; warm transfers to other support services if required; and information about other useful services.
The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of people with disability has paused public hearings for now, but you can still make a submission by phone, writing, or audio/video recordings. In our counselling sessions, we can help you to do this.
Due to the restrictions imposed by the government’s response to Covid-19, our counselling consultations are currently by phone or Skype.
