The Disability representative organisation grant opportunity will provide funding of up to $10.208 million (GST exclusive) over 2 years from 2024-25 to 2-25-26 ($5.104 million per year) to organisation to provide systemic advocacy for Australians with disability.

Organisations funded under the DRO grant will need to ensure disability issues and a diversity of voices are represented in decision-making, legislation, policy development and implementation of programs and policies that may affect people with disability. In order to ensure this, organisations will participate in a range of engagement activates with the Australian Government.

An information session will be held, details will be released once the grant round opens for potential applicants

September to December 2023 is the estimated period of release with other details including Grant Opportunity Guidelines and other supporting documents being published when the grant opportunity is open for applications.
