Beach Rd, Nelson Bay is the main connection to Little Beach and Halifax Holiday park, as well the very busy Little Beach Boat ramp.

The road becomes particularly busy in the Summer months and school holidays with visitors to the area increasing dramatically.

Works include pavement rehabilitation, minor drainage upgrades and new line marking and pavement markers to improve the condition of the existing road infrastructure and improve safety.

This project follows on from pavement and kerb works undertaken in 2023 along Beach Road and continue around to Gowrie Avenue.

Works commencing 17 June and are expected to take 3 weeks (weather permitting), followed by a 2-3 week gap before asphalt and resurfacing and line marking can be completed.
